About Dr. Bader
Dr. Christopher Bader has been a New Jersey resident his entire life. He was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey and currently resides in the Monmouth/Ocean county area. Dr. Bader completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey with a degree in biology. He then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Bader graduated with his medical degree in 2006. He then completed his residency training in Family Medicine at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. In his final year of residency, Dr. Bader served as co-chief resident of the program.
When asked about why he chose to pursue a career in Family Medicine, Dr. Bader replied, "I believe that a physician should treat the entire patient, not just one part. Also, a physician should not just treat the physical aspect of the patient, but also the psychological and social aspects. Family Medicine encompasses all of these ideals and allows patients to achieve optimal health and wellness."
In his spare time, Dr. Bader enjoys running, kayaking, surfing, and spending time with his family. He is married and has a 3 year old daughter and a son born in September 2009.
